A trial lawyer who has spent his career representing individuals injured by the wrongful acts of others. From the outset of his career, Jon has only handled personal injury cases, focusing on trucking crashes, severe automobile crashes, bad faith insurance practices and slip-and-fall incidents which result in serious injury. Each case presents a unique opportunity to Jon as he embraces the challenge of complex cases and utilizes technology and creativity to present each client’s story in the manner which is required for full justice. Jon litigates a variety of injury cases with a proven record of going to trial and has handled cases throughout Kentucky and several other states over the course of his career. Jon has a passion for trial work and has tried cases continually since being sworn into the bar in 2014. In 2019, Jon became one of the youngest attorneys in Kentucky history to receive a jury verdict exceeding one-million dollars.
A forever learner, Jon has a passion for learning from other lawyers and constantly studies trials from across the country in addition to frequently presenting to attorney groups in Kentucky and beyond with a focus on trucking related topics. In addition to his work inside of the office, Jon is a proud member of the Board of Governors for the Kentucky Justice Association, a member of the American Association for Justice, The Trucking Litigation Group, The National Trial Lawyers, the Melvin M. Belli Society and the Alumni Council of the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law.
Outside of the law, Jon enjoys reading, golf and travel with his wife and their young son, with no destination more dear than his hometown mountains of eastern Kentucky.
